This weekend I tried something I haven't done in years: packed my camera with zero agenda and headed to Atlanta Jazz Fest. No specific project to chase, no "Vanishing Point" aesthetic to perfect—just curiosity and a willingness to see what happens when you stop being so precious about your work.
What started as a simple walk along the Beltline turned into a 48-hour creative reset that reminded me why sometimes the best artistic decision is knowing when to stop creating and just experience. In this vlog, I share the journey from Krog Street to Piedmont Park, the images that probably won't make it into any project, and why giving yourself permission to be deliberately unproductive might be exactly what your creativity needs.
Whether you're a photographer feeling stuck in your own patterns or any creative person looking to shake things up, this one's for you.
